Правила доменов .NZ
Obtaining the .nz registration for a web site is simple and it is mandatory for all organizations, individuals and other entities having established connections with New Zealand. To apply for .nz registration in New Zealand, registrants need not be based in New Zealand nor does their domain name need to be hosted in the country. You just need to enroll with the authorized registrar who supervises the .nz registration. The .nz registration is administered by the sponsoring organization InternetNZ via the registry- Domain Name Commissioner (DNC). Introduced in 1987, .nz was earlier operated by Domainz, a subsidiary of InternetNZ.
InternetNZ maintains a shared registry system (SRS) for the management of .nz domain name registrations. DNC is an ICANN accredited registry and the operational office of InternetNZ. There are no restrictions under most second-level names; a few are moderated that means that the eligibility is checked before registration is granted. The following are moderated SLD names:
- .cri.nz: Crown Research Institutes
- .govt.nz: National, regional and local government organizations
- .iwi.nz: A traditional M?ori tribe, hapu, or Taurahere group
- .parliament.nz: Parliamentary agencies, Offices of Parliament, and parliamentary political parties and their elected members.
- .mil.nz: Military organizations
Other un-moderated SLDs are .ac.nz (Tertiary educational institutions), .co.nz (commercial), .geek.nz (concentrative, technically skilled and imaginative people), .maori.nz (M?ori people, groups, and organizations), .school.nz (school) and more.
Once you enroll with the registry, you have to comply with their rules and regulations. Domain names should match the relevant Internet standards as well as InternetNZ policies, or else the applications may be rejected. The names can be letters, digits and hyphens with a maximum length of 63 characters for each element and 255 characters for a domain length. |
